Keeshah’s mouth flashed healthy pink as he yawned widely, his yellow white teeth startling against the crimson flush. He stretched his giant paws out ahead of him, already lying on his side on the marble floor of the cathedral like building. It sported many rooms and though Ithil and Keeshah preferred the outdoors this particular room they occupied had caught their attention. That and the fact that the land outside was being thrashed by torrential rain at the moment.

The room was marble crafted with pillars standing guard. A small stream wound through the center of the room with miniature bridges spanning it at intervals despite the fact a person could easily step over the gap. It’s gentle music played lowly in the room, casting a serene atmosphere with its melody. In one corner was a huge glorious bed of white silk, the material used in its canopy and drapes as well as its sheets. But what made it particularly attractive to Ithil, whom sat nearby Keeshah trailing her fingers in the cool water, was the fact that the room opened almost directly to the outdoors.

Basically a large archway opened directly to outside, with a covered area to keep the rain from blowing into the room. Large shutters were folded back on each side of the archway, allowing an individual to close them for a measure of privacy or protection. That last was quite clear in the slim bolt attached to the shutters from the inside, Elvin wrought their slim elegance was deceiving of their great strength.

Ithil listened to the rain pummel the ground outside, its tattoo on the buildings roof building in crescendo as the storm increased its vengeance. Mist roiled outside she could see. Shapes moved in it but Ithil couldn’t be sure if they were real or just the shifting light playing tricks. Even Keeshah couldn’t tell, his sense of smell being thwarted by the rain.
