The smell of leather, sweat, and steel seemed to permeate the dusty, old shop as Bayard took his first few steps inside. He let out a low whistle as he caught sight of the existing sale items. The place was dark, cold, and in desperate need of some fixin' up. Many of the weapons were still in mint condition, while others were so far gone as to make them worthless. Striding purposefully up and down the rows of merchandise, Bayard took note of the many things he needed to correct and junk that needed to be thrown away.
After a careful inspection, he found a broom and a questionable-looking rag, and got to work...

Several long hours had past before, Bayard's stomach began to growl with a sudden urgency. He finally decided to stop what he was doing to survey his progress. Grunting with satisfaction, he surmised that the shop was finally satisfactory and ready for business. Reaching into his gear bag that he had brought with him, he pulled out a wooden sign and hung it on the shop door before tramping out the door with a crossbow and bolts.
The sign read: "Gone Out Hunting. Be Back Soon."
