Name: Helios'Astaras
Meaning: 'God of the Inferno' in the dragon language. (given to him after his parents felt his strength with magic centering about fire)
Just call me: Helios (Inferno)
Age: noone knows actual age, but at least 1000 with his size
Gender: Male
Coloring: Golden colored scales with crimson metallic colored borders around each scales. The scales on his underside are a paler golden yellow non-metallic color.
Race: Dragon
Height: Dragon: he stands about 22 meters at his shoulders, making a very large dragon. He is about 50 meters long from the tip of his nose to the end of his tail, six of which are his neck and head. His wingspan can block out a decent amount of sky.
Humanoid: 6'
Eye Color: golden amber ring around fiery orange.
Humanoid Discription: Through his magic, Helios has created a humanoid form to help him when he chooses to interact with other races, or more importantly to get into some of the human or elven libraries, tombs, or other such small areas he could never hope to enter otherwise. he has an obviously elven appearance with his pointed ears, and slim body with golden blonde hair. the only things not elven about him are just above his eyes are a line of golden scales that mimic the ones he has in his dragon form. along his hair line at his temples are small strait horns that only reach a few inches. the eyes are exact mirrors of his dragon ones.
Personality:To say the least, Helios is usually calm, unlike the element he says he is part of... Fire. This dragon is not easy to piss off, and when he is it doesn't last long, un-like most of his species. But when he is pissed, it is never a good thing, usually something gets burnt beyond recognition. He is arrogant, but not overly so, his arrogance is not without basis, and he never claims to be able to do more than he can. Often, he does not care much about others and just does what he wants. He holds no hatred for the other races, but does not care much for them either. Most of the time he is kind in his own way, half of the time talking to most most people like an elder, trying to teach them. He hates useless prejudices though, and they piss him off more than anything when he watches them between the races. He will protect his home quite fiercely though if you aren't welcome, and especially don't steal anything he has in his horde hidden in the cave he uses. Has little interest in obtaining a mate and no interest at all in the war between the light and dark.

History: Very little past a century ago is known about this old dragon other than an at least 1000 years old by his size and strength of magic. And the only thing most anyone would know is that he has made a Lair somewhere deep below the mountain range that houses the Snow-Topped Peaks that many dragons use as their home. The entrance is hidden by many means, magic included. The biggest rumor amongst any treasure hunters or the greedy is that the lair of a dragon with the name 'God of Fire' contains a great treasure that dwarfs even a Kingdom's coffers. This is only from rumors and some journals of adventurers who happened to stumble upon his lair.
Recently, Helios has just watched the events around the war, and anything that catches his interest from the war or tomes and items of magic that was abandoned or is being put to use by people who do not know how to use it. Much of what he recovers can be located in the great library in his lair. Any more about his past than these rumors and tales of treasure and knowledge of his home hoard you must get from him, and to do that you have to be very close.
