Iberia trotted hesitantly into the grasslands. She had brushed her ebon hair and tail until it shone and glistned; her pelt was bright and clean. her bright blue eyes took in everything under thick eyelashes. Iberia looked around again. She bent and picked a small rose. The thorns stuck her calloused palms, but they didn't bleed, She inhaled the rose's sweet scent, then tucked it into her hair.
With ivorn fingers she brushed her hair out of her eyes. Her eyes flitted from place to place, then stopped, dissa[ointed not to spot another centaur. She settled her self onto thr ground, her long legs tucked underneath her, and her human body upright and tall. She began braiding the tall grass into a pattern, something that had occupied her time since coming here. She tucked in small flowers into the piece, and now that she was finished, it was dotted with the pale purple of lavender, the bright ornage of day lilies, and other small flowers.
She tied it around her neck, and waited. She sighed. Maybe no one would want her. She was taller than most centauressses, and sometimes even centaurs. The Shire horse that was her other half often made her uncomfortable with others, but nowadays, she didn't let it bother her anymore.

Trephas slunk in and stared at the centauress. He didn't know why he was here, but he felt that he had to come...

Iberia started when she noticed the centaur. Her bright eyes took him in. She got to her feet carefully. Who are you? She asked, her voice scarcely louder than it needed to be.

Her voice was shy. I'm Iberia. She wasn't sure what to say next. Iberia nervously played with the flower she had tucked into her hair.

Iberia put her hand out and shook it. "It's nice to meet you too." Her heart was pounding. She hadn't seen anyone in a very long time.

He smirked at her, "No I didn't mean to shake your hand." He raised her hand to his lips and lightly kissed it.

Iberia blushed, but didn't take her hand away. Her blue eyes glanced shyly at Trephas, and then at the ground.

beria smiled shyly. She couldn't think of what to say. She hadn't talked with hardly anybody in years. She hadn't had the nerve to.

His mind wandered as he thought about a different centauress he had met recently. He felt confused suddenly when he thought about her.

Iberia glanced shyly at him then away. "Are you here for the same reason everyone else is?" She asked, suddenly suspicious. She then looked down at her hooves, embarassed she had spoken.
