Galadriel strode silently into the small clearing, her shape blending in with the frost that was now rapidly growing on everything. She sat silently on a frost-covered rock as it got colder, colder..... She was a snow elf. Princess of the snow elves far to the north to be precise. She hated heat, for it poisoned her icy blood. There was now an inch of snow in the clearing, and the air grew chilled. She sighed with pleasure, her eyes fluttering open. Her eyes were amazing. They were stormy gray on the outside of her iris, but paled to a shimmering silver on the inside of her iris. Her pupils were, instead of a blaze, a blizzard billowing on the path to her mind. She slowly pushed her waist-lenght hair out over her shoulders, its colour constantly changing from silver, to white, to deep gray. The amulet on her neck glowed with the cold, the amulet of the royal snow elves. She sat, watching the snow and sky, and just meditating. Galadriel-

Silently another elf watched her through dark blue eyes. His smooth skin a fair hair hid the milleniums of wisdom that he had obtained throughout his long life. Though he had never met the elven royalty, he knew one when he saw one. He did not recognize her as one of the sea elves whom he had lived among, but perhaps she could tell him where his daughter was. Círdan Nólatári-

Galadriel's eyes snapped open at the presence of another elf. She stood and spun around to face him. She stood tall, but her bare feet were not cold in the snow, and her pearl dress seemed to blend with the frosted ground. Her eyes narrowed as she said, What do mean to gain by spying on me? Be gone from this place. Her voice was sharp and cold, like the ice on the trees.

"Goheno nin," he replied with a low bow, "But I was not spying. I was wondering if you had wandered here with all the rest of our kind. If so, you might be able to tell where my daughter is."
((Goheno nin= forgive me *in elvish*))

Your kind..... she said it softly, with a scowl I am not one of your kind. Sea elf that you are, you might not have noticed the frost, the snow, and.... she paused for a breath,My amulet. she held it in a pale, caressing hand, causing it to glow like the purest crystal. Her sivlery/white hair blew out behind her, like silken threads riding the faint breeze.

"No, I do not notice such earthly trinkets," he frowned realizing how vain and selfish she was.

Her eyes bored into his. He was foolish to think she was selfish and vain, for it was only caution that had made her this way. She finally gave a small cough and said softly Ai varden abr du Aiedail gata argetlam. She spoke in Elvish, her voice soft and sweet when un-cautious.
((it means "Forgive me. I am still quite new here, and very cautious."))

She sighed sadly and said with a sense of despair in her melodious voice, Thrysta deloi Dras-Leona, wiol pomnuria ilian. Eka weohnata neiat haina ono, blaka eom iet lam. she ended the sentence with a hard cold, anger to her voice. Only if you looked very closly would you see the beginnings of tears in her beautiful eyes.
((means "I am from Dras-Leona, most frigid peak in the north. Or, at least it was, before it was destroyed."))

((wut does dat mean? ?)) Galadriel waited a moment before answering. It was always hard for her to talk about losing her home, for it felt like losing a familiy member. She silently stared at the ground for a moment, thinking of how to answer.
