She shrugged, and stepped toward it. The metal sang in the air as she brought her sword down and the head came off in a clean sweep. Wiping her sword, she picked the head up in one hand and displayed it on a tree like a trophy. "Someone else can have it then." she said. She made a quick movement, slitting its' belly in a split second and swinging around so all of a sudden her sword was inches from his throat. She held it there as her eyes met his.

Trephas stared at her with amusement, "Go ahead, kill me." Holding her gaze for a long moment, he pressed his fingers against the flat parts of the sword and pulled it away from his throat.

"I could if i wanted." she said, then smiled. "Just testing though. See what you're made of." She sheathed her sword. "Not bad."

"Oh, believe me." she said, and stepped closer until their faces were within inches. "You wouldn't." she pulled back, now knowing where she stood.

"Is that a threat?" he bantered, secretly laughing inside at how she gotten uncomfortable being that close to him.

"No, just a fact." she replied, then saw the look in his eyes of how he thought she was uncomfortable with the closeness. She too felt the amusement tickle inside her, so she decided to surprise him. Dark eyes dancing she stepped forward again, wrapped her toned arms around his neck and kissed him, letting it linger.

A shockwave passed through his body. She clearly had caught him by surprise as his corded muscles in his arms tensed then relaxed. Slowly he drew both arms around her waist as she kissed him.

She moved her head back to look him in the eye, letting him leave his arms where they were. She laughed, raising an eyebrow at him.

He released her suddenly with a barking laugh. He did not know why he had done that.
