a flea bitten gray centaur stood at the edge of the hollow breathing in the sickly air. he held a peice of glass to the sky and stared at its sharp clearness. he had found it in a old human encampment and it fasinated him to the point of obsession. there was so many things you could do with it. on his right arm on the underside there was a tattoed scar that said "tranquil" on his left arm it said "evil" he didnt know which to choose.

he was a honest centaur, normally good natured but the way other centaurs had treated him, the human loving ones turned him against his own kind, he had resorted to violence to get of of the trap they had put him in, they worked with humans and the humans branded him in several places they put him in a electic cage so humans could stare at him, they said offensive comments like: "where did they breed him, or did thay catch him in the wild?" or: "what is his stud fee?, i'de like to breed him with my new brood mare."
no, no after this had happened he wondered if he could ever trust or love again?

he then realized he had said all this out loud

he looked around frieghtened, had some one heard him?

An appaloosa centauress stepped in. Though she had heard him talking to himself, she did not know what he had said. Her sarcasm kicked in when she saw him holding the glass, "Is that a special piece of glass?"

he turned immediately his pale eyes shaded. was she another human lover he thought, probally she sounded just like a centaur or centauress after they converted to the humans side....he looked at his peice of glass, it reminded him so much of the electic cages. glaring at her he squeezed the glass so hard in his hand that blood poured from his clenched fist.....

She smirked in amusement, "Well, is it?"

"nothing is special" was his harsh relpy....."no matter how much you want it to be"

She raised a dark eyebrow, "Then why were you just talking to it? Or were you talking to yourself...?"

but he igonred her , he had suddenly remebered a filly he had brought with him here and wondered if he should go find here maybe some one is taking care of her now maybe.... he thought.....he turned back to the centauress " what do you what???"

"I'm bored and you were the only form of life in the area..." she shrugged.

" who says im a form of life" he said miserbley.

"Well, let's see," she rolled her eyes, "You're bleeding, and you're talking to me."

he looked down to his hand...he was bleeding he hadnt realized that..........he couldnt think of any thing to say back, he never was a one to get sarcastic or get into fights...

"Geez, you are one depressed centaur," she stared at him, "You need to learn how to lighten up and relax!"

after encagement by humans and other centaurs???i think not he said coldly
