Iberia wandered fruitlessly over the extent of the terra she had claimed. She was here alone, and alone she would probably always be. But if it hadn't been for him... Iberia sighed. She knew it was impossible to be with him, because they were so different. But she needed someone to help her, someone to keep her company in this place. Snowflakes fell onto her body, frosting her blue coat with icey patterns, and her black hair softened from his usualy harsh look. Her eyes grew soft as she stood in a clearing, idly saring off into the distance. Maybe someone would join her here.

Trephas watched the centauress from the shadows. Ever since they had met and went their separate ways, he had wondered when he would ever see her again. She had promised to meet him afterwards, but he had never heard her call. As he stared at her from a distance, he noticed that she looked unusually beautiful as well as extremely lonely. He longed to step out and declare himself, but for now, just being here was enough.

Iberia looked down at her hooves, and at the fallen snow that coated the ground in a thick blanket. Her land was a cold place, for sure, but she didn't feel the cold like some. Her beautiful eyes were downcast as she stared off into the shadows, just thinking. Her eyes, unassisted picked out a familiar shape in the shadows, and she started in recognition. But with a blink of an eye, the shape seemed to melt away. She sighed and turned away. How lonely I must be, to be seeing Trephas everywhere. The glare of the snow must getting to me. She thought. In a sudden decision, she let her head fall back and she sang. Her voice filled the air in a hunt song from her homeland, in a language only she now knew. A tear fell down her cheek, but she didn't let herself stop until the song was over, and the forest was silent once again.

Trephas jumped a little when he thought that she had seen him, but no, she had not....Her sad song reached into his very soul as if it could rip it out of his body and leave him lying there. Though the words were unfamiliar, the tone was not. He recognized it as a universal hunting song that every warrior sang before they went out to hunt. Putting his hands on either side of his mouth, he sang that same song, but in his own language. It poured forth from his throat and reverberated throughout the entire terra.

Iberia started at the sound of a new voice singing. She turned her head back to where she had thought she had seen Trephas, and found that she could still see no one. She let herself sing again, the song of her own language intertwining with the other one being sang. The lyrics of both were different from the languages, but the harmony of both was amazing to be heard. Iberia let herself be caught in the song, letting her worries slide away.

As abruptly as it had started, Trephas’ song ended, leaving a void in the harmony that had sprung between the two singers. The snow began to fall more softly and even the forest creatures did not seem so distant and silent. Trephas’ uneasiness had melted away after singing the hunting song though he could not quite figure out how or why. All he knew was that he wanted to be with Iberia, if only for that moment…

Iberia turned towards where the singing, and walked cautiously closer. Her hooves made no sound on the freshly fallen snow, and her hair blew across her face from the wind. She came closer, until she was only a few feet away from the hidden Trephas. Her eyes strained to see the one who was hidden in the shadows, cloaked in darkness.
Hello?

Though he wanted to jump out and wrap her up in his arms right then, he did not do so. Instead, he stayed in the shadows because he wanted to see every emotion on her face when she recognized him. She would, he hoped, recognize his voice.
"Iberia."

Iberia's face lit up. Trephas? she breathed, eyes searching for him in the darkness. She walked forward tentatively, positive it was him.

((It's ok))
He smiled, briefly exposing pearly white teeth as he stepped into the light. "You had not come to me, so I came to you..."

((lol, it's fine...I've been busy anyways))
He wrapped his strong arms around her, not wanting to let go. Looking down on the top of her head, he replied, "I told you that you could always find me at the Silver Streams..." He broke off, placing a rough kiss on the top of her hair.
