Tinúviel's brows knit together as she tried to figure him out, "How are you to know that? Have you not seen mind-control in action? Besides, if she had wanted to, she could have killed you many times before then, according to your testimony." She had no idea why she was defending this dragon, but perhaps it was because she had grown up among many dragons, big and small, old and young.

"And yet you could not see her deception?" she questioned.
Elvina shifted around uncomfortably, having never seen her elven friend so determined.

Tinúviel nodded slowly, "You are right, of course. I am sorry for speaking out like that."

She noticed his blush and wondered why he was embarrassed, "Nevertheless, I had to admit that I was in the wrong."

Elvina lowered head towards the elf maiden and blew softly into her face, "Are you well?"
Tinúviel brushed her delicate hand against her forehead with heavy sigh, "I don't know. I just miss my father, I suppose..."

he noted the dragons obvious concern for the elf but said nothing. like he had to say. nothing. he wondered what this conversation might bring in the end. nothing can be too sure. he angered at this thought. too many nothings, ifs, and maybes. I'm sick of it all. pushing these thoughts aside he returned to the present with a conceiving grin playing on his pale lips. tell me about your father. he said as the thought occurred

Elvina looked over at Evermind questioningly. His strange smile made her suspicious, though he had never given her any cause for concern.
"My father?" Tinúviel repeated, "My father is the greatest and yet most humble elf that ever lived. He is slow to anger and quick to laughter and joy."

he nodded sounds like he is a good father he noted. another might note of how strangely he said the word 'father', like he couldn't say it correctly even through he said it perfectly without a lisp, or maybe was the fact it was one of the first times he had said the word.

Tinúviel nodded, "Yes, he is. We used to live near the sea with the sea elves though we are woodland elves by blood. My father has much patience...He had to in order to work with dragons. But we had to leave our precious dragons behind when we both fled here. I have not seen him since we got separated..."
