A frosty glow seeped into the chamber. A beautiful, and quite young elf waltzed in, stepping lightly on the marble floor. Four luminous pixies soared at her side, flitting about her. One landed on her shoulder and whispered something in her ear. A look of delight came into the elf's eyes and she raised a hand to cover her laughter. Another hovered just above her, braiding a lock of indigo hair, weaving it with tiny diamonds, sapphires and silver threads. Soon, her hair was shimmering with the new hair dressings. She stepped gracefully out into the center of the floor, and stood head low for a moment. An unearthly music began to play, and she started to dance. She swayed with the tune, spinning on her toes, she leaped into the air with the skill of a fairy, spinning mid air she raised her hands above her cranium and performed intricate symbols as she danced. At once, an intense blue light emitted from her eyes and bathed the chamber in a cold glow. Coming to a stop, she clasped her palms together. A black bird flew from her hands as she opened them, and she curtsied. She then skipped over to a soft bench and sat down, running her fingers through her hair until the luminous pixies brought her an ivory comb which she used to remove the jewels and thread. She placed each one in a silver bowl, and then poured icy water from a pitcher beside her onto her hands. She rubbed her hands over her face and hair, making them gleam. She motioned for one of the pixies, it came and landed on her shoulder. I would most love a sip of Stone Oil, could you bring me some Eärwen? She asked for one of her favorite drinks. At once the pixie flitted away, calling to her sisters as she went. They followed close behind. While they were away, the elf fluffed a cushion and reclined, her delicate feet resting at the foot of the bench, her eyes narrowed in contentment as she scanned her surroundings. ( she looks dark, but she isnt, its just the pic.

Arya was on the balcony of the chamber speaking with the hummingbirds when her finely tuned ears pricked at a voice. She spun around, her strawberry coloured hair beautifully pinned up against her head. She stepped silently forward into the room and saw the elf. She nodded silently in geeting, her long skirts brushing the ground.

The elf heard the soft brushing of fabric against polish stone. Standing, she adjusted her skirt and smoothed her hair before speaking.
Greetings...
She said, her voice smooth and frosty, but with a soft, almost bird like sound to it.

Greetings..... she said back, her voice like the sound of soft waves lapping on the sand. Her voice was exotic, like a blend of rain in the rain forest and the soft petals of a tiger lily. the hummingbirds around her fluttered, accentuating her soft pearl gown and the lavender roses in her hair.

a male elf with black curly hair and pale skin watching from a distance silently, musing of what only he could guess. a gray trench coat waved like a flag hanging off his broud shoulders. he was tall, taller then most elves. his face was serious, as it always was. he he caught glimpse of the two female elves he ignored as most wouldent. he was untouchable, and forbidden.

The elves dainty, pointed ears caught the sound of another presence. She turned to see the male standing by a column. She walked towards him, motioning for him to step forward.

Arya saw the male elf, but gave no indication that he should talk. She was not the sort to make friends easily, and she preferred animal company over the company of other elves.Animals make more sense........ the thought flowed through her mind. She stood where she was, her head held high and proud. Her flawless features were pointed in the direction of the sunrise on the balcony, her body language clearly telling the other elves not to hold their breath, for she would not be joining them any time soon.

instead he took out his black colored sword and practiced with him self, going over complacated moves, his muscled arms moving in a unnatural speed, slicing the air and causing a wind current to happen in the listless air, arousing the heavy silence

Show off..... Arya thought, her long, pearl skirt rustling faintly in the soft breeze. Her strawberry mane cascaded over the pale skin on her shoulder, her hummingbirds chittering softly into her pointed ear. A faint smile played upon her soft, full lips at the stories that the hummingbirds told.

Stepping forward, the young elf smiled, leaning on the column as she watched him fight. As he swung the sword her way, not to hurt her however, her arm shot out under her other arm and produced a glimmering onyx dagger.
You fight well....
She whispered.
Tell me, what be your calling?

Arya didn't bat an eye at his rude comment. She simply glanced at the hummingbirds to see how they were taking being called fluttery things. Not many beings knew that a hummingbird is proud, and demands to be treated with respect. They are quick to anger, as they were doing at the moment, taking of how they would peck this male elf's eyes out. Arya gave a faint smile and said to the hummingbirds in soothing tones Peace. I'm sure his ego would be the only thing damaged, for he would not be able to see his reflection. She said this very quietly, but the birds broke into loud laughter.

his ears were quick to hear her comment. awww my eyes! he yelled mockingly, as he covered his dark eyes with his pale strong hands. im too young to die he said even more mockingly, this time dancing around bent. he straightened up. i see you have the mighty hummingbirds to do your bidding, instead of yourself, may i ask why? he said this, this time seriously, done with his mock distress when inside he was laughing at every one around.

Arya smirked faintly at his stupidity. Had he been listening, rather than making a fool of himself dancing around like he had no eyes, he would have heard the high-frequency sound the hummingbirds made when they were angered. Soon the noise stopped, but now there was the soft sound of padding feet outside on the balcony, the un-mistakable sound of a large cat, and an angry one at that. The hummingbirds trilled one high note in unison to tell the cat what to do, and he entered and obliged. The mountain lion turned to face the male elf, spitting and hackles raised. It launched itself at him, claws extended for a full fledged attack.
Arya only sook her head slightly. Idiot..... she thought annoyedly. Now she would have to call the cat off and save him from a painful death of watching his innards be ripped out, as the hummingbirds specified.
((lol. spiteful hummingbirds.))
