Arianne's lacy green and orange mottled wings carried her around the meadow. She let her bloodshot eyes travel across it, as she had been doing for days. She was really getting sick of flowers. Unusual for a fairy, perhaps, but not for her. She had dwelled in a forest for her whole life, not this open meadow craziness.
Ari sighed and descended lightly to land on a orange tulip-like flower. Her slim body slipped through the top of the flower, and she almost lost it then. Her head was above the top of the tulip, and the rest of her inside. She let out a wild whoop of laughter, then sank inside the flower. She rested her head onto her knees, and her dark black hair fell across her face.

She glared at the flower. Stupid thing you are, she thought. Too bright and cheerful for me. Staying around for so little a time, and never looking any different. Give me a tree any day and I'll be happy. She pulled herself out of the flower, and took to the air.
Ari hovered, gazing at the seemingly endless field of flowers. I'm going to be sick, she said to herself. Where are the trees?! SHe flew as ast as she could in one direction, and for as lnog as she could. She finally came to the edge of the flowers where tall grass stood. Finally. She dropped promptly into the grass, and ran her fingers over a blade. She found a leaf and curled inside it. She didn't sleep. She stared as if in a trance, unaware of any of her surroundings. She could be easy pickings for someone who wished to surprise her.

Dear god. One flower fairy, fluttering about as if the whole world was filled with sunshine. So pretty. Not. Tyrian eyed the two with disdain, as he walked his way through the meadow, crushing flowers with a vengence, if they got in his way. Barely moments before the other two had come, he'd been enjoying himself, sitting, watching the sky. Now it was ruined, by a pretty, little light fairy. And he took it out on the plants. Black wings, wispy floated along behind him, unused. He resisted using them as much as possible. Only in emergancies. He paused, shoving his black hair away from his eyes, crossing his arms as he passed the fairy. His body language said 'don't talk to me, and I won't talk to you', clearly, loudly, a definate action. Maybe they might notice, for once. "There should be a neutral place", he complained silently to himself.

ooc: Its only Arianne here... not two differnt fairies
bic: Arianne shuddered out of her reverie at the sound of the flowers being crushed. Her eyes were wide as she saw him pass by. She uncurled, stepping out of her hiding spot, and launching herself into the air with quick, sure wingbeats. She settled lightly on a small branch, he dark green dress fluttering in the slight wind. She watched him. He obviously didn't want to be spoken to, but had she ever heeded warnings such as those? Not once had she.
Ari watched him with curious eyes. He obviously didn't like flowers. Thank god. Flowers could die for all she cared. Annoying things, too bright and slort-lived. Trees stood for centuries, untouched by waste. "What are you doing here?" She asked, her vioce mildly curious. If he didn't answer, she would ask again. She settled cross-legged on the branch, and gazed at him.

Glaring at her for talking to him, he considered her question for a few moments, before coldly replying, "I don't think that's any of your business." Normally the lack of warmth forced other fairies to leave him alone. They seemed to think he was instantly an evil, dark fairy. But he was a neutral fairy. He just didn't want to be one. He continued to walk, ignoring her further, as he crushed a couple more flowers for good measure.
Strictly speaking, he should be over at the ruins. But he didn't consider himself evil, so he varied between the two places. Half the time, most of the light fairies were away from their little meadow, so he came to be quiet and write. As it is, the fairies seemed to be able to tell when he was here, and when he didn't want to be disturbed. And turn up on both occasions.

Ari watched him with amusement. It seemed flowers were his worst enemy, or it was by how many he was crushing. Not that she cared. Give her a tree and she would defend it with her life, if it were worth the effort anyway. His tone didn't disturb her; she had heard worse. The only thing he could do to really get on her nerves was, well, not really anything. Except after a while.
"Why isn't it my business? Am I bothering you?" She asked mockingly sweet. "If you want, I can go to the other side of the meadow and kill myself as not to disturb you," she added seriously. Ari stepped lightly into the air, her wings a green-and-orange blur.

"If you can convince all the others to do so, then you will make my day", he responded darkly, turning to glare at her, eyes just visible beneath the curtain of black hair. "But I think I'd prefer to kill you myself. Self satisfaction at wiping the lot of you off the earth." He stated it warningly, seriously, as he turned, continuing to walk away from the other fairy. Why wouldn't the thing leave him alone. She was like a mosquito. Buzzing closer and closer, till he raised his hands and killed her.

She watched him with interest. "You seem angry," she said, her eyebrows arched gracefully over her eyes. "You know what? You hate your species. You need a reality check." She informed him, her voice prim. Annoying others was among her favorite things to do. "if it's against the flower lovers, then I understand completely. They serve no purpose, flowers," she said, picking one and then dropping it.
She dropped from the air until she was a ways ahead of him. She stepped from the air onto a flower head, above his head where he couldn't reach her unless he flew or climbed really fast. Her eyes were somber, as she waited for his answer.

"You're darn right. I hate my species. We have a terrible image. Everyone laughs at the fairies because they're so sweet, so helpful, so darned innocent. I don't like that image at all. I'm not a bubbly little fairy, flying around helping everyone, and being a sweet little person in general. I'm a real person. Not some fake image. I hate, I get angry, I can be nasty, I can kill. But because I have a pair of wings stuck to my back, no one takes me seriously", he snarled, glaring at her, "So don't tell me I need a reality check. I'd rather be a human than a bloody fairy." He breathed heavily for a few moments, regaining his composure, as he glared at her, eyes narrowed, waiting for a response. Any response. Preferably anger, or fear. He calmed swiftly, wings folded, like normal, almost out of sight.

Her eyes were narrowed now after his outburst. "Don't think you're the only one," she hissed. "I know as well as you what most think of fairies. I don't know why I even stick around this place anymore," she gestured to the flowers. Her face was red with barely contained rage. Ari looked as if she would attack him, but she retrained herself. Barely.
"You tell me what I already know. Don't go moping around because of what you are," Ari said, her voice shedding anger with every syllable. Her wings shook with fury, and if one looked close enough, her wings seemed to dance with the flames that had destroyed her home. Her eyes were smoldery. "If you've come to tell stories about how sorry you feel for yourself, you've come to the right place." She actually sounded a bit amused. "I can yell right back at you."

Tyrian nodded, a cold smile on his face. "You were the one who decided to annoy me. I gave you what you wanted to hear, and annoyed you further. You're just another flower fairy. Get irritated when someone actually talks about something other than a rainbow of happiness, love, hope, joy. Bless". He shook his head, continuing on the walk, point proven, "and for your information, I came to this place to sit and be quiet. You were the one who tried to get me angry. Quit contradicting yourself." He crossed his arms, with one, decisively irritating nod, wings folded back. It had also been a nice release of emotions for him. But he wouldn't tell her that bit.

Her lips were pressed in a thin, tight line. "Just another flower fairy?" She asked indignantly. "Excuse me for breathing! I hate flowers so much it's not even funny." She rolled her eyes. "I don't do flowers. I do trees. If you really want to know, most tree fairies don't hesitate to spit out whatever their thinking!" She stopped. "Good-bye."
Ari plopped cross-legged onto the ground, her dislike of flowers now really the only thing on her mind. She looked queasy just sitting there. She ducked her head, trying to clear her mind so she could meditate. One of the only things for her to do right now. Her rage could be forgotten, and this fairy could leave her alone. Her multi-colored wings shielded her from outsiders, hiding her slim figure behind them. Eyes closed, she began to forget everything, and to be everything.

"Sorry, not going anywhere soon", he stated calmly, a cool grin on his face, before adding "Flower fairy." He sat down, pulling out his small notebook. The one he used to record all thoughts. And started to write. He scratched out the words loudly, in a chorus of Ums and Ahs. Designed to annoy the stupid flower fairy who seemed to think she was able to blank him out.

The added insult barely did a thing. Ari managed to ignore him just enough that her calm was restored and so she could talk with spitting out insults. It really wasn't her way, to be angry all the time. The trees had patience. She could too.
But she wasn't a tree.
She peeked at him with one eyes barely open. "What are you writing about?" She asked interestedly. Ari, always curious, ever prying. 'Too bad the trees hear everything,' she thought gleefully. 'I can't fault myself for that!' Her wings opened to reveal her sitting cross-legged, her elbows propped on her knees to watch him.
