Valley of Grandfather Trees The trees here are as old as time, and as wise. They tower above the mortal trees, guardians of all that is and will be. Amongst their gnarled wide trunks is protection and solitude. A breeze scented with cinnamon and the earthy smell of rich soil whistled at an almost subconscious level between their forms. The ground is littered with their leaves, soft and cool they provide a natural bed. The canopy, high above as to almost reach the clouds, blocks the light but allows the warmth and semi-glow to infiltrate to the world at their roots. |
